We are somewhat shy filmmakers from Finland and don’t wish to put ourselves in the public spotlight that much. Rather, we let our work speak for itself. In our movie set, it is important to be dedicated to get the work done, but also have fun while doing so and respect all other team members and actors. Everyone has to feel seen and useful in our set ─ we take pride in making everyone feel comfortable! We respect each other’s ideas and try to find similar thoughts on things, which helps us through the writing and directing process. Most of the time we do share a vision. Sometimes, if one of us gets a good idea on set, we film it on the spot. You never know what might fit in the final version!
To us, it is important that the crew is on the same frequency as us – not forgetting that their ideas can make the movie better. We are looking forward to bigger productions with funding as well as to find dedicated talented crew members.

Jouni is a feature film director. His film Diamonds of Destiny had premiere on November 2023. The short film Golden Pendant was in North Hollywood International Film Festival, Canada.
All of the administration and producing work is Jouni’s expertise. He also writes screenplays, directs the actors and plans the camera positions. Jouni has studied filmmaking first a year in Laajasalo college, Finland, then filmmaking emphasising on producing and directing at Raindance, London. Many industry specialists from different areas have tutored him.
Jouni has directed as well as edited several short films and worked in many areas on other films. He’s an award winning film editor.

Jukka is a feature film director. His film Diamonds of Destiny had premiere on November 2023. The short film Golden Pendant was in North Hollywood International Film Festival, Canada.
Jukka helps mostly with all the arrangements and often operates the camera, sometimes collaborating with directing. It’s not a secret that he is more precise with focus pulling than his brother! He has a good visual understanding and courage to try out different ideas.
As a self-taught filmmaker, Jukka is gaining his knowledge all around. He has learned camera and sound work on the road. Jukka has helped on several short films and also advises on editing.

Giselle is a short film director of Swimming In Circles (2024), as well as of several other short films, such as Within the Lines (2020).
In moviemaking, she is interested to be part of the whole process from screenplay writing to directing and editing. She’s also a graphic designer with a keen eye on beauty who works on the outlook of Sasu brand. If needed, she is a lyricist for our own songs in the films.
Giselle has a degree in audiovisual production, including filmmaking, graphic designing and photographing from Hyria, and has studied creative writing in the University of Jyväskylä.

We owe our company to our beloved late dog. Sasu, a black Giant Schnauzer, was a genius. He understood several different languages. His favourite movies were E.T., the 24 series, and especially the Dark Night Knight trilogy, which he used to listen to next to the subwoofer. Sasu was reliable and dedicated – and those are the qualities we value in our company. For us, he was a very important friend who always supported us.
Movies should bring forth bright messages, hope for a better tomorrow and for the humanity as a whole, and make you think. We are keen to make drama that stands out with our values of life. In our productions, we aim at sustainability. For example, with every Urth filter bought by us, they planted a tree. We are committed to extend the lifespan of our equipments with careful maintenance and responsible use, and when we no longer need an equipment piece, we pass it by to new users.
Directors like Steven Spielberg, Alfred Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan, James Cameron, Joe Wright are inspirational. What we do, we try to look for fresh ideas. And the most important thing: to create great, touching, fun, profound movies! We are looking forward to grow as a film production company, but we are also open to work in other productions. Sasu San Productions always have movie ideas at various stages of development.
